Blizzard suffers huge outage!

Today at approximately 8:50 PM PDT (Server Time), Blizzard Entertainment/Vivendi, sufferred a huge outage, affecting their world server, as well as their corporate website.

Systems back online

World of Warcraft is back online, but the outage has resulted in a laggy environment. I am sure that more news of this outage incident will become available to report soon.

More game issues

As players log in, the Non-Player Characters (NPC) are not all in place. Game elements are missing. Even the Portal to Shat is just now coming online. It is a mess!

Reboot sequence has been initiated

World of Warcraft is undergoing a reboot sequence. Blizaard's corporate website is now online. The "World Server" is still down however. They are most probably seeing a huge amount of players trying to re-login to the game.
